The outbreak of the dreadful Ebola virus in West Africa is no longer a news, as it has become famous suddenly among the poor, the average and the rich.
However, in spite of its fame We must refuse to celebrate her, rather, we should sort every means to destroy and alienate her from our midst.
The worst part of it is that, it kills her victims between 2 days and 21 days. She has no regard, whatsoever, For Age, Sex, Race , Profession or Locality.
No Vaccine or Cure have been detected yet for this infamous Ebola.
Vox News described the virus as the deadliest in human history having killed 79% of her victims.
Report says, 'Scientist are working round the clock to come up with a vaccine to reduce the rate of the infection.' We sincerely hope they find one soonest.

- Ebola is introduced into the human population through close contact with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected animals such as Chimpanzee,Fruit bats, Monkeys Forest Antelope and so on.
- Ebola is also transmitted through infected human beings via contact with infected skin,blood, bodily fluids (sweat and urine) etc
- Men who have recovered from the disease can still transmit the virus through their semen for up to 7 weeks after recovery from the illness.
Nevertheless, there are certain measures you and I can and must take to refrain this deadly virus:
- Avoid shaking hands with strangers and those whom you have seen for a long time, and whose whereabouts you couldn't ascertain.
- Avoid body contacts ,in a populated area like market place, commercial buses, by wearing long sleeves shirts or blouses.
- Wash your hands regularly with soap and water after handling any objects outside your home or office.
- Avoid consuming any 'bush-meat' for no.
- Be careful of the places where you eat apart from your home,E.g 'mama-put', you might be consuming bush-meats (like bats or monkeys) ignorantly.
