Bad Friends,Bad Influence

Bad Friends,Bad Influence.

'Bad association corrupts good manners', this statement remains the truth forever.
There are certain friends you should never have anything to do with, more than saying 'hi'. They are a bunch of bad influences,  set to corrupt and even destroy you.

I would like to share one  of them with you here:

The Dream Extinguishers:
These kind of friends are everywhere around us. They usually appear to be friendly and very interested in your dreams, all these are done in a bid to get you to unveil your precious dreams, then Boom! 'They' work out several means to destroy your dreams and get you down the drain.

'They' usually started out by advising you (influencing) to go slowly and steady because 'life in itself is vanity'. Though, you might want to say there is an atom of truth in that quotation, but stretch a bit further in your discussion then you will soon  discover the aim of such statement.

Such friends prefer you remain on the same level or perhaps, have you below them. You require the Spirit of God and an unfailing Intuition,to discover and escape from their evil traps.

The bad news is that some of these bad influence of a friend can go any length to ensure you don't achieve your goals in life. I mean as far as killing you physically and spiritually.

What, then is my advice?

D and F are the keys.

Discover such friends and Flee.

Nigeria @ 54

Image result for FLAG OF NIGERIA

Our dear country Nigeria is, today, 54 years old! Happy Independence Day!
This Great country has gone through various ups and downs within these 54 years, most of our woes were caused, primarily, by ourselves.
Nigeria, has one of the best innovative brains/minds, in he world, but corruption of our leaders, will never allow these minds access the helms of affair of this country.

It is quite unfortunate that those who have been our leaders over 50 years ago are still directly, in the corridors of power.
'Children today are leaders of tomorrow' has become a cliche, because those who have been controlling Nigeria, those Names you and I heard back then, over 30 years of my life, are still the same names we hear till date.
The youths are not considered to be fit, to run the affairs of this country. The greedy leaders that we know are still in power, and now We are celebratig 54. Boko-haram has become an epidemic disease, even more like an hurricane, sweeping off Nigerians who are supposed to be the future of this country.
Inspite of all these, God still hold us together in peace against the evil desires of certain leaders who are peadophiles in all ramification.

We shall continue to pray and hope until the wind of change blows, and wipe out every evil syndicate against Nigeria.
Arise Nigerian Youths and take your place.
God bless Nigeria!

Greatness

'Despise not the days of little beginning.................' Toil and stop not, cos a day shall come when all your 'little toiling' shall Make you #Great.
Consistency is the key.
Greatness starts from the bottom and Aim High even beyond the sky.
The Foundation of the highest Sky-Scrapper in the world begins from digging dip down.
Grave, which swallows the dead, however,is the only digging scenario that begins from the top.
Think about this!

The Fear and Grief of Ebola

At least eight Ebola aid workers and journalists were reportedly murdered and dumped in a latrine in a remote village in Guinea in a frightening example of the growing distrust locals have of foreigners coming to help stem the mushrooming health crisis.
These deaths are believed to be the first resulting from resistance to international efforts to curb the Ebola outbreak in the region, Reuters reported. Other aid teams have been forced to turn back by crowds in several locations, and a treatment center in Monrovia, Liberia was attacked and looted.
Villagers in an area near the city of Nzerekore used machetes and clubs to attack eight members of a team trying to raise awareness about the disease, officials told the BBC.
"The eight bodies were found in the village latrine," Albert Damantang Camara, a spokesman for Guinea's government, told Reuters on Thursday, adding that they had been "killed in cold blood by the villagers."
Prime Minister Fofana reported that the aid mission included "local administrators, two medical officers, a preacher and three accompanying journalists." They were reportedly attacked by a large crowd, throwing stones, from the village of Wome.
The delegation had arrived on Tuesday to do disinfection work and educate people about preventing Ebola, but residents pelted them with rocks and beat them, according to the Los Angeles Times, citing Guinean radio reports.  The group fled into the bush. One journalist who escaped said she heard people looking for her while she hid, according to the BBC.
On Thursday, the bodies were found in the septic tank of a village school in the village, according to Camara. Six people have been arrested and the village is now reportedly deserted. Although a motive for the murders has not been confirmed, a BBC report says many villagers have accused the health workers of spreading the disease.

The Ebola Virus,What You Need To Know

The Ebola Virus,What You Need To Know!

 Dear Friends,

The outbreak of the dreadful Ebola virus in West Africa is no longer a news, as it has become famous suddenly among the poor, the average and the rich.

However, in spite of its fame We must refuse to celebrate her, rather, we should sort every means to destroy and alienate her from our midst.

The worst part of it is that, it kills her victims between 2 days and 21 days. She has no regard, whatsoever, For Age, Sex, Race , Profession or Locality.

No Vaccine or Cure have been detected yet for this infamous Ebola
Vox News described the virus as the deadliest in human history having killed 79% of her victims.
Report says, 'Scientist are working round the clock to come up with a vaccine to reduce the rate of the infection.' We sincerely hope they find one soonest.

Key facts ( Courtesy W.H.O)
  • Ebola is introduced into the human population through close contact with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected animals such as Chimpanzee,Fruit bats, Monkeys Forest Antelope and so on.
  • Ebola is also transmitted through infected human beings via contact with infected skin, blood, bodily fluids (sweat and urine) etc
  • Men who have recovered from the disease can still transmit the virus through their semen for up to 7 weeks after recovery from the illness.

Nevertheless, there are certain measures you and I can and must  take to refrain this deadly virus:

  1. Avoid shaking hands with strangers and those whom you have seen for a long time, and whose whereabouts you couldn't ascertain.
  2.  Avoid body contacts ,in a populated area like market place, commercial buses, by wearing long sleeves shirts or blouses.
  3. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water after handling any objects outside your home or office.
  4. Avoid consuming any 'bush-meat' for no.
  5. Be careful of the places where you eat apart from your home,E.g 'mama-put', you might be consuming bush-meats (like bats or monkeys) ignorantly.
Above all the precautions stated above, Pray Earnestly to God for His Protection over you and yours.

Thank you for stopping-by.
Kindly share this information with your friends and families on Facebook and Twitter.
Help Keep Nigeria safe from The Dreadful Ebola Virus!

7 Secrets to a happy life

7 Secrets to
a Happy Life
We all want to be happy, but something always gets in the way. There is never enough time... or money. Somebody is always failing to do what they are "supposed" to do... or not do. Our boss, our spouse, our kids, our parents, our friends, government, big business, especially when you consider the state of our beloved Nation, Nigeria. You’d want to conclude that life can’t be better but bitter. Massive protest here and there, "They" aren't doing it right. "They’’ failed us. We are angry, and we have a right to be angry. But is that righteous anger making us happy?
Those that we assume that are making us ‘bitter’ are enjoying lives secretly, hence, our happiness in life must be a personal decision.
Happiness is not something anyone else can give us... or take away from us.
Happiness is what we make of our lives... or don't. Whatever our circumstances, we can create a joyful life... or a miserable life. It is up to us.
Here are my 7 Secrets for a Happy Life: Read it on www.selfgrowth.com,got inspired and thought of sharing it with you, enjoy:

1. Have Self-Respect: If I don't love and respect myself, who will? It all starts right here with ME. If I think that I'm a pretty good person, it doesn't much matter what anyone else thinks. And the irony is that once I like myself, most everyone else will like me too. People enjoy being around people who speak well of themselves - not in an arrogant boastful way, but with honest self-appreciation.

2. Forgive Everyone for Everything: Angry and happy don't mix. Flush out the anger, and the happy has a place to put down roots. Until we forgive everyone for everything, we hold on to anger and resentment. Once we forgive, we can become happy. Forgiving is not a gift to someone else - Forgiving is a gift to ourselves - a great gift - the gift of happiness.

3. Be Grateful for All of Life: Each of us has been infinitely blessed - beginning with the gift of life. Whatever may appear to be missing or broken on any particular day, our glass is not half full, it is 99.9% full. More practically, when we feel ungrateful, we become unhappy. When we choose to feel and express our gratitude, the act of feeling and speaking our thanks creates happiness within us. The more we express our gratitude, the more we have for which to be grateful.
Today and every day, take time to celebrate life - whether an hour's meditation in a quiet natural space or a brief moment's conscious pause to breathe deeply and celebrate gratitude for life
.
4. Choose Happiness: Everything in life is a choice. There is never anything we ever "need" to do. Every action and thought is a choice and has consequences - pleasant or unpleasant. Whether you go to work today, change jobs, smile at the bank teller, order fried fish, yell at your kids, complain about life, and hold a daily celebration of gratitude for life - they are all choices. Happiness is a choice. Stay alert and make conscious choices for happiness.

5. Begin at the End: You can never reach your destination if you don't have a destination. Decide what accomplishments you want recorded on your tombstone. Take a whole quiet day to consider your life. Be very clear that your happiness does NOT depend on reaching your goal. In fact, it's the reverse. Your happiness depends on accepting whatever life throws at you while you walk the path toward your goal. What is important for your happiness is having a goal, and working toward it.
6. Start Today: Whatever you want in life, start today. Not tomorrow - today. Let it be a small beginning - a tiny beginning. Your happiness depends on starting today - every day.

7. Life is NOT "Supposed to be Fair": Know that there is no single way that life is "supposed" to be. Demanding that life meet our expectations is a sure fire recipe for a miserable existence. Life is a game with no rules. Life just happens to us regardless of our best intentions. Our only path to happiness lies in being open to receiving whatever life throws at us - with Gratitude.
